Doomsday Numbers Limited Edition Numbers with Special Features
From within the Limited Edition run of 1893, some numbers have special significance 13, 666, 1666 & more. The Limited Edition Number and Artists Initials are also hand painted in blood red splatter on the mount. These are know as the doomsday numbers, 1666 is the date of the Black Death and was foretold as the end of the world, 13 is considered unlucky, for some anyway and 666 is of course the number of the beast! There will be a few different doomsday numbers added from time to time. The UV editions also have special versions with variations to the normal run of prints.
