Tiddly Om Pom Pom is a very special part of the Lost Connection series but it has a foot firmly planted in Fan Art. It reminds us of our seaside holidays as a child with a sinister twist. Set in Blackpool during the illuminations at twilight, the sun setting behind the tower, the bright lights just coming on. Blackpool is at its best during the illuminations at night the city comes alive... but lurking in the shadows this picture takes a sinister twist. At first glance you might just see the amusements, the tower and the illuminations, all the things you expect to see, but take a closer look! Lurking in the shadows beneath the bright lights there a few famous faces and things from the world of horror! There are over 45 reference's to famous and some more obscure horror movies can you spot them all, name the characters? I do hope I have done them justice, they are not meant to be perfect but done for fun! The painting was commissioned and as part of the commission I was challenged to hide (some in plain sight) several Horror references. Some are clear others are less obvious. As a student I was a huge horror movie fan and I collected horror movies, even the really bad ones! So to get commissioned to do a picture like this was great fun to do and I had to include some of my favourites. Obviously this is just fan art built around a real location and not an official Horror Movie Product for any of the films, as I'm pretty sure non of the films were based in Blackpool, mores the pity... but it is a lot of fun! Before you ask why Tiddly Om Pom Pom? Well it's a line from "I do like to be beside the seaside" in which for those that don't know mentions Blackpool in its lyrics.

Series is Limited to 850 prints per size there are a small amount of Artist Proof Test Prints available too. Each print is hand signed and numbered by the artist. Canvas edition is limited to 495 copies all signed and numbered by the artist.
