The Merchant Adventurers Hall, York. Prints derived from my original Painting.
This is one of Yorks beautiful old buildings dating back to around 1340. It has a distinctive wood frame and it is the largest timber framed building in the country. Used often these days for events and other purposes. The original was commissioned by a newly married couple and the flowers used by the bride can be seen in the picture resting against the tree.
Lucy my black cat hides in this and most of my other York pictures. Have you found Lucy?
The original painting was done in watercolour on cotton.
