The Two Towers of the west face of York Minster stand majestic in this picture. Often there are weddings in the Minster and classic cars can often be seen in this area waiting to whisk away the happy couple. In this case a red vintage Rolls Royce is at the ready and to add further colour there a couple of Minster School children (one a certain miss Braithwaite) and some of the choristers, the red flag of St George flutters in the breeze above.

The original sketch is done in graphite pencil, matt pencil and polychromos pencil.
