This was my first in my touch of red series of drawings it was started in 2010. I love London and over the years I have done dozens of pictures of the city. Here we see a classic and fan favourite Route-master bus heading across Westminster Bridge. A few years ago a gentleman came along and bought one of these prints and he told me he was once a bus driver on that very bus route and used to drive the very same bus across that very bridge! I was so pleased as I had go the route of the bus correct so all my research paid off!

This is one of a very few landscapes that does not contain Lucy.

The original sketch is done in graphite pencil, matt pencil and Faber Castell polychromos pencil.
