Stonegate, York. Prints derived from my original Acrylic Painting.
Stonegate was the street where the stones for building the minster were brought down, it boosts some of the best preserved historical shop buildings in the country. My first Gallery was on 1st floor of the Stonegate Antiques Centre, seen to the left in the picture, you can see my sign on the side of the building. In the street there are many local characters including the then owner of the Antiques Centre which which later closed and reopened under new ownership. At that point I moved to the Low Petergate Gallery.
Lucy my black cat hides in this and most of my other York pictures. Have you found Lucy?
