The Museum Gardens, contains the ancient ruins of st Marys abbey it merges with the city walls, an arch in the wall serves as an entrance. It's a beautiful and unusual scene and one of the city's secret views. Every now and then I like to draw attention to places that people don't take note of or even come across. This scene with the added intervention of snow adds to its secret nature.

Dark and atmospheric the series depicts the city asleep on a snowy night, the snow on the pavements largely undisturbed, except for the occasional black cats footprints.

Most people buy the Black mounted version of the prints as it seems to add to the ambience, but cream mounts are available in the smaller size should you choose.
