Low Petergate, York. Prints derived from my original Painting.
Low Petergate offers one of the best views of the Minster and the local streets. You can see the timeless nature of the buildings, their products have changed a great deal but the shops and frontages have stayed largely the same for hundreds of years. For many years I worked at this vantage point with my stall and have painted this view many many times!
Lucy my black cat hides in this and most of my other York pictures. Have you found Lucy?
The original painting was done in acrylic paint on canvas.
