Autumn Sunlight Skeldergate Bridge, York. Prints derived from my original Painting.

Skeldergate is a beautiful bridge and no more so than in autumn when you will find the golden and orange leaves of the horse chestnut trees contrasting with the brightly coloured barges moored there. The rivers in York have a special calm beauty about them, but don't let that deceive you its very strong and deep and many a foolish person has jumped dunkenly from the bridges for fun, some are lucky enough to survive this folly but not all. We have all seen on the news how the river can suddenly flood with deviating impact.
